Catching up for Dec. 2009

Tasha say, "Happy Holidays", along with Elviria, Eleanor and Edgar (also known as Sparky)

Well, here we are in the last month of 2009. What a year it has been. We always look forward to the Holidays, then when we are in the middle of them we will be so glad when it's all over and the month of Jan is rather dull. I'm still in the looking forward stage. Hey, it's a good time of the year. I'm not crazy about the weather but I will not complain. We have had a couple of weeks of freezing temps. In the twenty's but now that our rain storm has come in it's warmed up. When you see the temps. of some of the country I cringe. I'm from Kansas so did grow up with snow. I've played in it, scooped it and even drove in it a few times but I do not want to do that anymore thank you very much. I really would rather live where it never gets below, lets say 65' and never above 85'. Everyone tells me that would be San Diego.
Any who, getting back to the Holidays.
I don't have a tree yet but have decorated the house inside. I don't really have room for a tree. It would be lovely to have a 6' tree, very full and all decorated but believe me I have enough. I think just being in the Christmas spirit is wonderful and hopefully visiting with friends and family. Nothing is better than someone to visit with and share your time. I've been having Earl Grey Tea. I just picked it up the other day, hadn't had it for quite awhile so am enjoying it very much.
Will continue this as the month goes along. Only 14 days to Christmas !
