I'm New on the Kindle for you.

I'm not really new, actually I am quite old, that is by today's standards.  The picture shows you where I sit and ponder problems, thoughts, ideas, and even a lot of daydreaming.  Thank Goodness we still have our day dreams.  I think a lot about life and how it works.  It changes you know.  I'm not talking about life changing. We all know that changes. What I'm talking about is your thinking.  That's what changes.  If you think about it, you'll realize the opinions you had when you were in your twenties are very different then what they become in your thirties.  I would say it changes probably about every 10 years.  Hey, it might even change every 5 years.  Of course, that depends on what we are talking about.  It's lovely really to sit quietly under the walnut tree and contemplate life.  When it's quiet like this you do wonder about so many things.  I say quiet, but let me tell you there are many birds up in these trees and they are singing there little heart out.  How lucky I am to be able to sit and listen and just enjoy.  Around me in the yard is....The walnut tree, An Oak tree, Berry bushes in the corner, in front of them is two avocado trees which we started from an avocado seed.  Poplar trees on the right and on the other side of the fence is a pecan tree.  This year it looks like we are going to have a bumper (I don't really know what that means but it sounds really good) crop of pecans.  The left side of the yard which is not in the picture is our citrus trees.  They are quite small as we have just planted them last year but the frost (which we don't usually have) I'm afraid, got them.  My Jim has brought them back during the spring and summer so we are hoping they will make it through this winter.  We do so love lemons, and oranges.  We will just have to see.  In that corner also is our small garden.  This year we only had a very small one.....zucchini, and tomatoes. Will be back for more thinking.  Tootles and Dootles Love
