Going to the Gym ? Gasp !

Now about this gym thing.  It seems I have been hearing quite a lot about different people wanting to go to this place and from what they say, exercise.  WHAT, I say.  Does not sound very lady like to me.  Who would have thought you could actually have a building with contraptions of torture to sit upon and people would actually come of their own accord.  They were not pushed, shoved, threatened or by any means forced into this place.  They actually came on their own.  They say they want to do this to get in shape.  Now I ask you,  What shape are they talking about.  If you ask me it's nonsense. Purely unmannerly.  No self respecting lady would dare show herself in this manner.  It's one thing to be glowing in the heat but quite another to be doing it on purpose and in public.  Well, I'm here to tell you, It is just not done, No Siree.  I will not stand for it.  Oh my, where is my fan ?  I must sit down and rest and cool off, this is much to much for my delicateness to handle. But alas, I'm afraid there is more.  It's for men and women, Together.  Yes, that is what I said, Together.  I swear, they must have a fainting couch somewhere in there, because I say, this is just over the top.  There is no way to be parading yourself around in front of the opposite sex Glowing.  I mean, the ladies are certainly not allowed to show their ankles much less anything else.  So exerting themselves on these torture contraptions in front of  gentlemen and being all covered up it's a wonder they do not swoon like a feather to the floor from Glowing.  They are all covered up, are they not ?  You know I did hear someone in passing, mention that they have exercise outfits.  Well that's more like it.  I mean an outfit I can certainly understand.  Let's see, it was just last week I also was thrilled to get an outfit for my Spring Walk through the park.  It was so pleasant with the cool breeze but of course I had my parasol which matched my spring gown with many flowers upon it that almost out shined the beautiful Flower Garden in the Park.  Oh my, This is where the ladies should be for their exercise.  Nothing like a stroll in the park to entice that Gentleman Friend.  Till Next Time Dear Ones All
